Tales of one with time: Entry No. 13

The subject up for discussion this time around is one that was brought up by one of you, my readers: Today we're going to talk about the joys and sorrows of owning your first car, that double edged sword of pubescent personal growth.

Hey!, that was going to far, I didn't mean the literal first car ever, I meant the first car that one owns -sorry- huh? who said that? (So now aparently not only do I break the fourth wall, but I'm also schizophrenic); I for one still own my first car (for something like 3 or 4 months now), and that bring with it many "firsts", the first time you take yourself everywhere you want to go whenever you want to being the first and most important one.

Still I remember those first few weeks when one would make up excuses just to go around driving: "I want some cookies, I think I'll go to the store", but along with those great pleasures and benefits, it brings with it the great many responsabilities a car requires, maintenance, the expenses of gasoline and repairs... speaking of which I just had an accident a little while ago and am now harassing my ensurance company to hury up with the process (Ahh, those lovely pencil pushers and paper staplers).

Anyways, this is another nice little subject for some of the older viewers to reminisce, for some of the younger ones to look forward to, an all in all enjoyable experience that makes for ones responsability to increase, maybe afterwards you can move onto owning a small pet, something that breathes but that doesn't require to much attention.
